How to make hot chocolate bombs using a polycarbonate mold
Huafeng polycarbonate molds are among the most rigid and durable options available for working with chocolate. They come in a wide variety of shapes, allowing you to create everything from full-sized chocolate bars to intricate miniatures. While these molds produce slightly smaller pieces compared to those made with silicone or 3-part molds, they still fit perfectly into a standard-sized mug and are spacious enough to hold plenty of fillings. For making traditional hot chocolate bombs, you'll need dome-shaped molds, which are available in several sizes. In this tutorial, we’re using a Huafeng mold that creates 2.5-inch (63mm) diameter spheres.
